Anxiety opens the door to spontaneous decisions and actions that can be premature, destructive, and counterproductive. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Anxiety, crying, nor anger can quicken your blessing’s arrival. God watches how we wait on Him. He doesn’t want you in a situation that you are not prepared for. Our experiences prepare us for our blessings.
While you wait, thank God in advance for answering your prayers, pray for divine direction and for wisdom for every decision you make, and ask God to show you what you are to learn from the situation. Maintain joy, hope, and positive thoughts.
