Zaya Mediterranean Restaraunt

Zaya Mediterranean Restaraunt
240 N Highland Ave NE # 2-I
Atlanta, GA 30307-5609

Located in buzzing, eclectic, and historic Inman Park, this sleek, affordable, and ambrosial Mediterranean Restaurant delivers mouthwatering cuisine that mirrors the gracious, healthy food in Greece and Italy.

An exuberant energy girdles the spot. Multiple cultures, races, and nationalities are sprinkled about, out on the expansive porch, scattered around the tastefully decorated restaurant, or at the Bar area that is always laden with lively banter and hearty laughter. There are times when the popular spot is quiet, but you can still feel the vibrant, friendly energy from the well-equipped and gracious staff.

I have never had a bad dish here, and we frequent Zaya’s at least once each week, but we do have our Favorites:
My husband (Vince) adores the Rotisserie Chicken with cut round potatoes.
My favorite is the Drunken Haloumi, which is warm, sliced tomatoes topped with pan seared Cypriot cheese with Ouzo and Garlic Sauce. This cuisine melts in your mouth.

The Vegetarian Grape Leaves are tasty; the Mediterranean Pasta is plentiful and delightfully seasoned. They spare nothing on the Fish Kabob, which boasts tuna, salmon, and vegetables. The side of French Fries is wicked, with fresh cut potatoes that are so, so good. Stop in for brunch (weekend), lunch, or dinner. They have weekend specials like savory Crab Cake and appetizing Snapper, both are scrumptious. I am encouraging the Chef to put that Crab Cake on the regular menu.

As the beleaguered economy persists, Zaya’s prices remain reasonable, especially their Lunch menu that has tasty Tapas/Appetizers for a mere $7. They also have select $10, $15, & $18 bottles of crisp wine, and $3, $4, or $5  glasses of wine.  Mixed drinks are $4 every day, and half off appetizers Monday through Thursday.

When you go…let them know that…..

VincandTrinaVince & Trina sent you!

Bon Apetit!!
